Baylor’s not the only school in the country where volunteers line up to help new students move into their residence halls — but it’s hard to believe any school does it better.
Wednesday and Thursday, more than 3,400 new Baylor students (both freshmen and transfers) were helped into their new homes by more than 2,800 volunteers — professors, staff members, students, and volunteers from the community. Even President Linda Livingstone was out there — both days! — not only welcoming students and their parents, but carrying boxes into residence halls, too.
